Introducing The 20Minute MindSpa!

“The most valuable skill or talent that you could ever develop is that of directing your thoughts toward what you want – to be adept at quickly evaluating all situations and then quickly coming to the conclusion of what you want – and then giving your undivided attention to that. There is a tremendous skill in deliberately directing your own thoughts that will yield results that cannot be compared with results that mere action can provide.”

THE THINKING BEHIND THE 20MINUTE MINDSPA

We’re habitual beings by design. Learning to walk, drive or brush our teeth took a lot of conscious thought and effort at first. But once we mastered the skill, it became “second nature” – a habit requiring no conscious effort any longer – on automatic now, tucked away in the Subconscious Mind. It’s no different with our thoughts. Beliefs are just habits of thought living in the Subconscious or Habitual Mind. You see, we’re three-part beings – of three minds -- Conscious (Critical Mind), Subconscious (Habitual Mind) and Superconscious (Spiritual Mind). Throughout written history this concept of our trilateral nature appears over and over again – Id, Ego and Superego; Father, Son and Holy Ghost; Body, Mind and Spirit – you get the gist.

THE HABITUAL MIND automatically attracts events, people and circumstances into our experience. That is its only job. It’s how the Law of Attraction works. However, this Habitual Mind attracts only to the extent that the limiting beliefs it holds allows it to. The Habitual Mind expands through repetition. Its essence is Intention.

THE CRITICAL MIND discerns, chooses, explores contrast. It decides
“I prefer this and not that.” However, its choices are limited by the boundaries of what it deems possible given the limitations of what resides in the Habitual Mind. By definition though, The Critical Mind also acts as a guard, a bouncer for the Habitual Mind, rejecting all that is too far outside its perceived limitations. The Critical Mind expands through understanding. Its essence is Attention.

THE SPIRITUAL MIND is the observer, who we truly are. It guides us and communicates with us through feelings. If a thought, word or action feels good, then it’s in harmony with our deeply held beliefs and desires. If it feels bad, then there’s a conflict between something we desire and something we believe. The Spiritual Mind expands through Imagination. Its essence is Pure Awareness.

Our job then, is to…

1) Choose what we prefer with our Critical Mind.

2) Listen to the Spiritual Mind for guidance.

3) Impress our Habitual Mind with new habits of thought that expand
our subconscious ideas of what’s possible.

To do this, we need to bypass the bouncer (Critical Mind). Fortunately, we do this automatically several times a day. It’s called a trance. When we drive a car, daydream, get engrossed in a book or a movie – we unintentionally enter a trance state. Our attention (Critical Mind) is so focused on one task, it ignores everything else in our immediate experience. Even though our senses are still picking up sights, sounds, smells, touch and tastes from our surroundings, we’re not conscious of them.

For ages people have been using many forms of meditation and self-hypnosis to achieve this trance state intentionally. The 20Minute MindSpa combines the best of several forms of these technologies into an extremely effective tool. This powerful MindWare quickly occupies the Critical Mind with Attention-training exercises, while simultaneously, directly and repeatedly impressing the Habitual Mind with life-enhancing affirmations – effectively influencing your belief system toward allowing a new and preferred life experience.

"Beliefs are very powerful, and they're slow to change, but they can be changed. As you continue to reach for better and better-feeling thoughts, you will find them and activate them, and the Law of Attraction will respond to them, and in time, your new life will reflect those changes in thought. If you hold to the idea that you can only believe the things that are based on "factual evidence," then nothing can change for you, but when you understand that the refocusing of thought, and the response of the Law of Attraction to the new thought, will bring new evidence, then you understand the power of Deliberate Creation."
